Rick and Anne Martin's shark
website. My Favorite
Shark website. This is the best and
most educational
shark site on the internet in my opinion.
When you get to the site in the lower left column click on Shark
Information
that will bring you to http://www.elasmo-research.org/site_map.htm
which is a treasure trove of shark information.
( "Rick" Aidan Martin passed away suddenly on February 13, 2007,
at his home in Vancouver.)

Fiona's Shark Links
Galore A great shark website started by Fiona Webster. This

doorway to
sharkdom for many people Mostly conservation oriented with a lot of good shark
links. One of the oldest and
best general interest shark pages on the
internet.
Nat. Marine Fisheries (sharks)
The Apex Predator page of Nat. Marine Fisheries.
More info on
sharks in the Northeast. This is a must site. It has info on shark tagging, and
the latest shark
regulations for recreational anglers. Also has info
on the profiled shark species mentioned in this website.
Ben S. Roesch's
shark page. Ben has a good book section, and other interesting
links. Ben's site will enlarge
with future updates. A good site to visit
whatever your interest in sharks.
Shark Cage Diving
in New England Shark cage diving with Capt.
Charlie Donilon aboard the
"Snappa." One of the few New England Shark cage
diving charters. This is a Rhode Is. based operation
Canadian
Shark Research Lab I wish I could get my website this organized.
Since Canada has basically the
same shark species as New England, this is a great site for
more information on New England shark species.
My site is written from a fisherman's
perspective and this site is from a biologist's perspective. One of my favorites.
New England Sea Birds

birds
This site will help you identify and appreciate these offshore species
of birds.

This is a fantastic book on the fatal 1916 New
Jersey shark attacks, that are reputed to be the inspiration for the
movie Jaws.
It has great insight into the attacks, and the people and
attitudes of that time period .
The book is thoroughly researched.
